DRUG ABUSE
Drug abuse is a big problem in the world today, and drug abuse is
also a large problem in America as well. Drug abuse can do much
damage to the user and those who care about the users well being.
Drug abuse starts with the first hit, drink, line, or shot of whatever
drug is chosen. Contrary to popular belief there is no such thing
as social drug abuse. The addiction to drugs, which is a powerful
force, begins with drug abuse.
A person may be a social drinker or someone
who partakes in smoking marijuana leisurely, but then something
emotional happens and that person needs an escape. The person
will naturally turn toward what they know as being something that
makes them feel good. They will turn to their drug of choice.
When they begin to use the drug against better judgment is when
drug use turns into drug abuse. Once a person has reached the
point of drug abuse the next step is drug addiction.
Drug addiction is a very scary thing. A person
that might not even know it is happening to them will begin to
change emotionally and mentally. The drug abuse will escalate
into an obsession for more, in order to cover up the emotions
that they are plagued with. When the covering up no longer works
they will use more and more until they possibly overdose. This
could lead to death.

year. It doesn't have to end yours. You can call us today and
